25 Nov 2019: Two day National Conference on the theme Educating Youth for Social Transformation: New Paradigms and Inspiring Praxis was organized by Don Bosco Higher Education Tiruchy on 14th and 15th November 2019, at Don Bosco Media Centre, in Tiruchirappali. Educators and other stakeholders numbering about eighty five participants and fifteen volunteers were at the conference. As it was an initiative of Don Bosco Higher Education India (DBHEI) Fr.Maria Soosai SDB, the Secretary welcomed the gathering. Fr.Marcelo Farfan SDB, IUS Coordinator delivered the inaugural address. Fr.Amala Jeya Rayan, the Organizing Secretary of the Conference presented the dynamics of the Conference.

23 Nov. 2019: The  Regional Meeting of Youth Ministry Delegates and Missionary Animation Delegates -South Asia was 5 days and reflection on Christus Vivit; Making Jesus live today!
Fr. Fabio Attard in his last address of term as General Councillor for youth ministry invited participants to reflect upon the post-synodal Apostolic Letter. He also animated on discernment and Salesian accompaniment basing himself on part 2 of the Final Document of the Synod and Christus Vivit. 

22 Nov. 2019: The last date to submit the consultation forms for new Rectors is 22 November 2019. Another one more day!

22 Nov. 2019: We are saddened by the sudden demise of Fr. Mani Parankulangara of Imphal Archdiocese, who passed away this morning at 6.30.am at CMC hospital, Imphal, Manipur, India. Of late he had loss of memory and required personal care and treatment and so arrangement was duly made in the hospital yesterday (21 Nov. 2019), however he passed away in the morning (22 Nov. 2019). Our sincere condolences to the Archbishop, fathers, brothers and faithful of Imphal Archdiocese. May he rest in peace.
