  1. DBHS Doimukh:
    DBHS Doimukh witnessed 100% success as all 29 students who appeared for the ICSE examinations passed with flying colours. Out of these achievers, an impressive 23 students secured a first division, while the remaining 6 students attained a commendable second division. The highest percentage of marks in this school was a commendable 88%.
  2. DBHS Mebo:
    At DBHS Mebo, all 13 students who appeared for the ICSE examinations achieved excellent results, resulting in a perfect pass rate of 100%. Among these successful candidates, 11 students earned a remarkable first division, while 2 students secured a commendable second division.
  3. DBHS Bordumsa:
    With a substantial number of 54 students appearing for the ICSE examinations, DBHS Bordumsa showcased an impressive performance. The school achieved a 100% pass rate as all 54 students successfully cleared the exams. Out of these, an impressive 44 students achieved a first division, 8 students secured a second division, and 2 students earned a commendable third division. The highest percentage of marks obtained at DBHS Bordumsa was a remarkable 88.2%.

    DBHS Longding celebrated the success of all 64 students who appeared for the ICSE examinations, resulting in a flawless pass rate of 100%. Among these achievers, 28 students secured a first division, while 26 students attained a second division. Additionally, 10 students performed well and earned a commendable third division. The highest percentage of marks at DBHS Longding stood at a commendable 77.6%.
  5. DBHS Kheti:
    DBHS Kheti witnessed a total of 36 students appearing for the ICSE examinations, and all 36 students achieved success, resulting in a perfect pass rate of 100%. Among the successful candidates, 32 students secured a remarkable first division, while 4 students earned a second division.

Overall, across all Don Bosco Schools in Dimapur Province, a total of 196 students appeared for the ICSE examinations, and each one of them passed with flying colours. Among the successful candidates, 138 students achieved a remarkable first division, 46 students secured a commendable second division, and 12 students earned a commendable third division. The highest percentage of marks obtained among all the schools was a remarkable 88.2%. The cumulative pass rate for Don Bosco Schools in Dimapur Province stands at a remarkable 100%.

Despite Unrest, Don Bosco Schools in Manipur Deliver Impressive High School Results

Imphal 16 June 2023: In the midst of ongoing unrest and challenges faced by Manipur, the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination results were declared yesterday, bringing a glimmer of hope to the state. Don Bosco Schools in Manipur showcased outstanding performance in the exams, demonstrating resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

A total of 732 students appeared for the HSLC exams across Don Bosco Schools. Out of them, an impressive 569 students successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 77.73%. These results bear testament to the unwavering commitment of both students and teachers towards their academic pursuits, despite the prevailing circumstances.

DBHSS Chingmeirong emerged as the top-performing school, with 135 out of 144 students passing the exams, leading to an exceptional pass percentage of 93.75%. The school also produced 89 students in the first division, 45 students in the second division, and 1 student in the third division. Only 7 students will be appearing for compartmental exams, while 2 students, unfortunately, failed to pass.

Securing the second position, DBHSS Punanamei achieved a commendable pass percentage of 88.24%. Out of the 68 students who appeared for the exams, 60 students successfully cleared them. The school celebrated 28 students in the first division and 32 students in the second division.

DBS Langjing claimed the third position with a pass percentage of 85.38%. Out of the 130 students who appeared for the exams, 111 students passed. The school boasted 71 students in the first division, 37 students in the second division, and 3 students in the third division.

Despite the prevailing challenges, DBS Khoupum exhibited a praiseworthy performance with a pass percentage of 85.34%. Similarly, DBS Shajouba demonstrated unwavering determination, with 83.33% of the students passing the exams.

DBHSS Maram showcased significant improvement with a pass percentage of 69.66%. Out of the 145 students who appeared for the exams, 101 students successfully passed. The school produced 30 students in the first division, 70 students in the second division, and 1 student in the third division.

DBHSS Tamenglong, however, faced relatively lower results, with a pass percentage of 43.24%. Out of the 111 students who appeared for the exams, only 48 students managed to pass.

Flash Flood at Dimapur Don Bosco School Campus Creates Scene of Bewilderment and Confusion

Dimapur, 11 January 2023 : The Don Bosco Dimapur campus in Dimapur was hit by a sudden flash flood early this morning, leaving the entire area in a state of bewilderment and confusion. The alarming situation was captured in striking photographs taken by Fr. Daniel J, shedding light on the extent of campus submerged in flash flood.
The incessant rainfall that began last night continued throughout the night, leading to a significant rise in water levels. The ground floor of the ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) was severely flooded, necessitating the urgent evacuation of furniture and other materials to the first floor. Animals such as those housed in the cowshed and piggery were shifted from getting drowned in the flash flood.
Residents living near the river, both from Nagaland and Assam, have been encroaching on the surrounding areas, leaving very little space for the excess water to disperse. Consequently, the volume of water that accumulated could not pass through the narrow stream, leading to the flash flood that affected the Don Bosco School campus.
Reacting to the situation, one of the school’s former principals took to social media, tweeting, “Staff and students will be happy to get a holiday tomorrow.” While the statement carried a light-hearted tone, it underlined the impact of the flood on the regular functioning of the school.
The floodwaters also entered the ground floor of AIDA, causing significant damage and forcing the relocation of various items to the first floor. Efforts are currently underway to shift belongings and mitigate further harm to the property.
The Don Bosco School community is now grappling with the aftermath of the flash flood. Authorities and staff members are working diligently to assess the damage and develop a plan for recovery. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the pressing need for better management of water resources in the region to prevent such incidents in the future.

Breaking News: Don Bosco Higher Secondary Schools in Assam (HSSLC) Declare Impressive Results

In a remarkable display of academic excellence, the Don Bosco Higher Secondary Schools in Assam have once again shown their mettle. The students have achieved outstanding performances across various streams.

In the Commerce stream, all 16 students from DBHSS Dibrugarh have successfully cleared the examinations, securing a 100% pass rate. Additionally, among the 62 students from DBHSS Doom Dooma, an impressive 59 students passed, resulting in an excellent pass percentage of 95.16.

In the Arts stream, DBHSS Doom Dooma witnessed a remarkable performance, with 126 out of 140 students passing the examinations, leading to an overall pass percentage of 90.00. Similarly, DBHSS Dibrugarh had 40 students passing out of 48, resulting in a commendable pass percentage of 83.33.

Furthermore, among the successful candidates, several students have secured First, Second and third divisions in their respective streams, showcasing their dedication and hard work.

Don Bosco Schools in Nagaland Shine in HSLC Examinations

Dimapur 30 May 2023: In the recently conducted High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examinations, Don Bosco Schools in Nagaland have achieved outstanding results, with students demonstrating their academic prowess and dedication.

DBHSS Mon has set a remarkable example by achieving a 100% pass rate. All 111 students who appeared for the exams successfully cleared them, with 79 students achieving first division marks. The school’s commitment to excellence is evident in the 18 students who earned Star marks and the eight who secured Letter marks.

DBHSS Wokha has also celebrated its students’ achievements, with 122 out of 124 students passing the examinations. The school has secured the 13th rank in the region, showcasing the students’ remarkable performance. Their hard work and dedication are reflected in the overall pass percentage of 98.39%.

The students of DBHSS Kohima have also excelled, with 111 out of 114 students successfully passing the HSLC examinations. The school has secured the 7th,13th and 18 ranks in the region, highlighting the students’ academic prowess. The only school to bag three ranks among the Don Bosco Schools in the state.

Christ King School in Kohima has also demonstrated commendable results, with 88 out of 92 students passing the exams. The students’ outstanding achievements include 64 securing first division marks and 25 earning second division marks. The school’s pass percentage stands at an impressive 95.65%.

DBHSS Zubza and DBS Tizit have also witnessed commendable performances, with their students showcasing their dedication and hard work. DBS Tuli achieved a pass percentage of 94.29%, with 33 out of 35 students successfully clearing the exams.
