“Flames of Divine Love: A Tribute to the Sacred Heart”

In the depths of faith’s embrace, behold,
The Sacred Heart, a story to be told.
A symbol of love that knows no bounds,
In grace and mercy, eternal it resounds.

Within that heart, a flame divine,
A beacon of hope that will forever shine.
A heart that beats with compassion’s art,
Guiding us through life’s intricate chart.

Oh, Sacred Heart, ablaze with love’s fire,
A sanctuary in which souls aspire.
In your embrace, we find solace and peace,
A refuge where earthly worries cease.

With wounded hands outstretched so wide,
A testament to love’s ultimate stride.
They bear the scars of sacrifice untold,
Redemption’s story forever unfold.

Your eyes, a mirror of infinite grace,
Gently gazing upon the human race.
In each tear shed, in every sigh,
You understand our sorrows, never deny.

Oh, Sacred Heart, a fount of healing,
A balm for wounds, gently revealing.
In you, we find forgiveness and release,
A divine invitation to find inner peace.

In the depths of our own brokenness,
We seek your heart, a source of blessedness.
To dwell within your love’s eternal flame,
And forever praise your sacred name.

Oh, Sacred Heart, our steadfast guide,
In your presence, we humbly abide.
With gratitude, we offer our devotion,
Forever bound in eternal commotion.

In the sanctuary of your Sacred Heart,
We find solace, never to depart.
Oh, sacred symbol of love’s purest art,
Forever reign within our grateful heart.

“Be cheerful, but let your joy be genuine, overflowing from a clear conscience.”

Dimapur: On 31st January, Friday, the Provincial House Community, Dimapur solemnly celebrated the feast of St. John Bosco, father and founder of the society of St. Francis de Sales. The celebration commenced with the Eucharistic banquet in the residential auditorium at 6:00 pm. It was well attended by about 140 people of religious sisters from different neighbouring communities, the members of the Salesian family and few lay collaborators. The Holy Eucharist was presided over by Rev. Fr. Maria Arokiam Kanaga, the Regional Councillor for South Asia. Brothers of Salesian college animated the liturgical celebration. The programme was shortened without any felicitation functions due to the sad demise of Fr. PK Mathew on 30th January, 2020, a day before the celebration.

The Eucharistic celebration was ensued by a fellowship meal for all the members present for the feast. The celebration of the founder’s feast was combined with the thanksgiving programme for Fr. Maria Arokiam who is completing his term as the Regional Councillor for South Asia.

It is to be noted that Fr. Maria Arokiam Kanaga began his extraordinary visitation with the province of Dimapur, 12 years back. And today he visited the province of Dimapur for the last time as the Regional Councillor for South Asia as he is laying down the office during the General Chapter 28 which is due in the month of February 2020.
